I'm Blake. For fourteen years I've been creating new products from the ground up and redesigning apps that need a lift. I’ve led and grown multiple product design teams and created a few design systems.
I started my design career as an art director in fashion retail advertising in 1999, learning to look through the eye of the consumer. In 2008, my interest in writing code drew me to become a front-end developer/designer. My curiosity about user experience and love of human-centered design finally brought me to product design, and I've managed design teams throughout every phase of my career.

In my spare time, you can find me on the hiking trail, hitting the gym or catching live music with old friends.
